I've gotten to know Betty due to 'The Golden Girls'. Still my all-time favorite TV-Series. I just read this book and I love it. The few photos from her private collection are very cool to see.
Reading about her stuffed animal obsession and her huge, HUGE love for animals made me smile. It gave me a 'Rose Nylund' feeling and if possible I love her even more now after this book.
The chapters aren't very long, but that's to be expected with her age. It's a very various book, a look in her personal life but also her spotlight life.
When you read the book, you don't have the feeling you're reading a celebrity book, but a 'girl from the block' book. She is very down to earth and that is something I found to be very clear through this book.
